Echolalia

Echolalia is a rendering of Aneuran Bevan's 1956 speech to parliament attacking the British invasion of Egypt. His down to earth scathing dismissal of the Tory government's rationale for the intervention inspired me to make a film that started on the Coigach Peninsular in North West Scotland and finish the film amidst the ruins of the old Swan Hunter shipyard in Wallsend, where many a war ship was built. Graeme Walker plays the role of Bevan.

Adrin Neatrour. 2007, UK, 07.32.
